Unlike standard medical doctors whom you visit when you have a symptom to be treated:
1) Chiropractors can offer adjustments to improve spinal alignment and overall well-being before symptoms develop;
2) Nutritionist will guide your diet, food consuption, metabolism, food sensitivities, help cook, help buy food etc;
3) Integrative Medicine Practitioner will guide you with herbs, ayurveda therapy and remedies and will use yoga as a holistic therapy instead of relaxation purpose;
4) Meridian Stress Assessment practitioner will find out all the bioresonance markers of your abnormal physiology and make an homeopathic remedy
At GHHC we treat the WHOLE-"U" to find the REAL cause or causes of your imbalances.
Because many people are unfamiliar with this type of treatment, many questions often arise. Some of the most common are answered below.
Chiropractic
Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that your body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism. The brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves of the body control these important functions. The skull protects the delicate tissue of the brain. The moving bones of the spine protect the vulnerable communication pathways of the spinal cord and nerve roots. If the nervous system is impaired, it can cause malfunction of the tissues and the organs throughout the body. Doctors call this the Vertebral Subluxation Complex. Vertebral, meaning the bones of the spine. Subluxation, meaning less than a total dislocation. And complex, meaning consisting of more then one part. Chiropractic is the science of locating offending spinal structures, the art of reducing their impact to the nervous system, and the philosophy of all things natural.
What is chiropractic care?
Chiropractic care is a health care profession based on interactions of the spine and nervous system, as well as the surrounding muscles.
Are chiropractors doctors?
Yes. Doctors of Chiropractic (also known as chiropractors) are not medical doctors, but go through a similar education process to become licensed in the field of chiropractic care. In fact, educational requirements for chiropractors are among the most stringent of any health care profession.
What types of pain do chiropractors treat?
Chiropractors are known for their expertise in caring for patients with back pain, neck pain, and headaches. They also treat sports injuries and other disorders involving muscles, ligaments and joints. The benefits of chiropractic care go beyond this and extend into general health as our core body structure affects overall function and health.
What is a chiropractic adjustment?
A chiropractic adjustment is the art of using a specific, controlled force in a precise direction that is applied to a spinal joint not moving properly or “locked up.” The purpose of this natural and safe procedure is to correct structural alignment and eliminate interference in the nervous system. For the patient, this means improved spinal function, reduction in pain, and an overall improvement in health and wellness.
Do adjustments hurt?
Chiropractic manipulation is a highly controlled procedure that rarely causes discomfort because minimal force and gentle pressure are used. In fact, most patients feel relief immediately following treatment. Any reported soreness after an initial adjustment has been described as similar to that associated with starting a new exercise program. Drinking plenty of water, using an ice pack, and engaging in light stretching after your first visit can help ease any discomfort promote healing.
Are adjustments safe?
Chiropractic care is widely recognized as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of most back and neck problems. Spinal adjustments are extremely safe when performed by a licensed chiropractor.
Why do adjustments sometimes make a popping sound?
The noises you hear resembling popping sounds are your joints releasing tiny pockets of air. A chiropractic adjustment does not affect the bones of either side of a joint; it affects the connective tissue that holds the joint together.
Are all patients adjusted the same way?
Each patient’s care is unique and therefore customized to meet their specific condition and needs. Your chiropractor will modify adjustments based on your size, weight, age and health condition.
Will a chiropractic adjustment completely remove back pain?
For many, back pain can become chronic if left untreated. Chiropractic care has been shown to ease and even eliminate back pain for many patients.
Can I see a chiropractor if I am pregnant?
Many pregnant women find that chiropractic adjustments improve the pregnancy experience and make delivery easier. Adjustments are adapted to accommodate the stage of pregnancy and the unique needs of each patient.
Will I be required to remove my clothing at my appointment?
Some testing procedures may require you to remove some pieces of clothing, however most do not. If you have any questions or concerns, bring them up immediately with your chiropractor.
Can I learn to adjust myself?
Chiropractors are trained to adjust in a very specific location and direction. As a result, it is virtually impossible to adjust oneself correctly and accurately.

Not at this time, but he is currently educating Doctors from all over the U.S. If you are interested in Dr. Stéphane chiropractic skills, please visit www.sorsi.com under locate a doctor tab.

What type of tests does he use?
Comprehensive tests that get to the bottom line/ root cause of your issues. It may be A, B, or C test but we won’t know until he evaluates you /or over the phone evaluation with the help of two online and paper questionnaires that lists your symptoms, history, and family history.

Why does he charge so much?
Each test recommended is an investment in your health. One patient said it was better to pay for the preventative than to pay for the alternative (hospital bills, medications, death)

How long do I have to wait for an appointment to see Dr. Stéphane ?
It depends on your flexibility. We do have a cancellation list that we will gladly add you to and we will do our best to bring you in sooner. We will need a deposit in order for us to add you to our cancellation list, but let’s go ahead and make a tentative appointment in the meantime.
What types of insurance pays for the tests?
Insurance does not really help with any of the tests, but until we know which tests he recommends, we won’t know which information to give you. Dr. Stéphane will give you his recommendation once the consultation is over and then we will be able to give you more information on whether insurance is applicable or not.
For example, Genova Lab sends their billing to the insurance and cap the fees if the insurance do not pay.
Dr. Stéphane will do everything in his power to have test covered by your insurance.

How often will he want to see me?
It depends on the patient. Once you begin his protocol he will recommend required follow up appointments according to the level of health issues; sometimes every 2 to 8 weeks or every 6 months.

Could be urine collection or blood draw.

Why can’t we give you all my results at one time?
Because he cares too much to send you out completely overwhelmed with information. His passion is to educate his patients so that they understand the interpretation and still have time for questions. The hour goes by so fast and you are too important to cut corners, when he is talking about your health.
Why doesn’t insurance pay for any of the tests?
Some insurance companies do but not all of them want to see you get better. They’d rather keep you sick and in the hospitals.
My insurance won’t pay for anything, will he accept payments?
No.
What’s the deposit for?
The deposit simply holds your time slot that it is applied towards your initial consultation and is refundable if cancelled with more then 24hr in advance.
How many patients has he seen with my issue(list)?
He does have experience with your issue, but it will always depend on the patient’s own commitment to their health.
Have you helped patients with my issue?
